Matthew Johnson

Lead Concierge

Matt Johnson is a proud native of Charleston, born and raised on James Island. Head of the concierge team at The Guild, Matt brings over a dozen years of luxury hotel experience, including over ten years at Belmond Charleston Place. During his time in the hospitality industry, he has been an integral part of the opening teams for the Mandarin Oriental in Boston, a five-star hotel and luxury residence, in addition to The Dewberry Hotel in Charleston. Matt’s years of experience paired with his deep-seated connections within the Charleston community make him an extremely valuable asset to residents and guests of The Guild.
